Unfortunately, I'm just a starting bassist in a jam/jazz band, so I've nothing to showcase. You all just wait though, I'll give y'all a bass solo that'll... well, not blow your mind, but it'll be good! :D

I'm a little hesitant to post my work, but I've got little to lose, so here it goes.

http://soundcloud.com/invocationmedia/p ... econstruct This is a song I made out of a friend's drumbeat.

http://soundcloud.com/invocationmedia/work-in-progress This is something that I'm having a friend do the vocals for. The idea for this track was to bring musique-concrete to digital and to pop/rock so many of the instruments are canned air, a can opener, a Dremel, and electric hair clippers. It got boring so I overdubbed some bass, Mellotron, and guitar.

http://throughtheunspeakablevessel.com/ My website
I have a lot more, including my label but I'll save that for another time.

I'll listen to the other links people have posted when I get out of work.

My current solo industrial music project.

At the moment, I don't have any songs up, but I'm working on a two-track demo that I'm hoping to release before this summer. Once I get the demo songs up, I'll be expanding to sites like Myspace, Facebook, Last.FM, and YouTube to reach a wider audience.

I am not really a musician, but I do have lyrics I want to share, in honor of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo season.

It's about a very funny incident from a visit to the rodeo one year;

Rodeo Cowboy by Tim Boyd (me)

Rodeo Cowboy,
Rodeo Cowboy,
I can't find a pot,
So I'll pee in the lot,
Rodeo Cowboy.

Rodeo Cowboy,
Rodeo Cowboy,
I drank too much beer,
So I'll pee right here,
Rodeo Cowboy.

OK... I used to mess around with space/ambient music back in the day, and I'm starting to think I might enjoy getting back into it again and maybe even make some good music given practice. Here's the first such ditty I've made in a LONG time. I could use a better title. It's a little rough--ok, a LOT rough--and I thought about reworking it a little. However, given the time I put into it, I just got to a point I decided, "hey, I'm DONE." So, for your listening [dis]pleasure:

None of them are anywhere near ready to be released yet, but maybe it'd be good to give people an insight into the creative process, in case by some miracle I find some band members who want to perform this stuff.
