Princess Ebana of Irem
Here’s another African princess character from one of my stories. Ebana, eldest daughter of King Jarha of Irem, is engaged to the overbearing and self-important High Priest Teti, but she would rather be with the handsome newcomer Godfrey of Avalon who also seeks her hand in marriage. Teti tells Godfrey that he must present a legendary golden cow in exchange for Ebana, and Ebana offers to accompany Godfrey on that quest. She has some skill at archery but fears hand-to-hand combat, which she views as unladylike.

BTW, the country name “Irem” comes from ancient Egyptian documents and may refer to a Sudanese kingdom upriver of Kush or Nubia.

Another Spike edit. This pose is pretty awesome for action shots. I need to put more emphasis on action.

I have very little confidence in my art. It isn't appealing to people.
I don't know half of why I even show it off.

^ Those are nice!

Skin Deep

Sometimes the outward appearance of kindness turns into the mask some people wear to hide their ugliness.

^ Wow, that is effectively creepy, especially with the skeletal nose-hole!

Thank you. This piece, although an idle doodle, as become a bit of a personal statement about life and society for me. Skin deep is a very hard topic to breach. It is difficult for people to value the good things under the surface or to acknowledge and change the not
so good things under their own skin. That s**t needs to change.

Tyrannosaurus rex takes in a deep yawn as he rests on a low-hanging jungle bough. This image came to my imagination when I was listening to Lebo M’s recording of “The Lion Sleeps Tonight”, which is undoubtedly my favorite version of that classic song.

And here's a couple of African warrior ladies:

This is a WIP of a paid commission I'm working on. I'm still waiting on how the person who wanted it wants it to be colored. I think it turned out nicely so far.
