I've been working on prop work lately mostly making oddities for my cabinet of curiosities. I found out a few days ago I had some works covered by Propnomicon, and it really made my week and got my creative energy up. I'll put up links to those last pieces last, as I want to cover my stuff that has not made the cut, but I'm still happy with.

The Front Image (Link) and the back Image(Link) with the two dials on the front rotating.
Astrolabe of the Cthulhu Cult.

Cthulhu Cultist Dagger Link

Elder Thing Pottery fragment Link Also covered by Propnomicon!

Esoteric Order of Dagon Amulet Link This too was covered by Propnomicon recently.

Amulet of the Hound (A re-carved Asian antiquity) Link It's a modern post 1940s item, I did not destroy an actual artifact on making this.

All I have to say is: AWESOME!!^^^

Prototype 009X5 # Testing Body Parts
Had this whole idea in my head that this shot is from a cyborg facility and this is one of the testing phases for the speech system in a new prototype of prosthetic body parts.

Testing the vocal cords alone would not be sufficient. They would have to see how the entire components work together such as lip movement, tongue, vocal chords and how they would work also as part of the respiratory system etc.

Okay I had a lot of time to widdle in my thoughts.

Here's my version of the January 1983-May 1984 U.S. $ale of the Century player's area (the only reason I know when this set was used was because of some now-taken down YouTube clips that helped verify the dates)...... with the rainbow buzzers (and was a replica of the Australian $ale's set in use then)..........

And here is the May 1984-March 1989 American $ale of the Century set area. Both of these sets were made in MS Paint.

Finally got around to outlining a novel right to the end (though I will refine it over time). Here's the heroine, Queen Nefrusobek of Kametu:

And this is the world she'll be questing in:

From the early days of the U.S. $ale of the Century, it at first, like its Australian cousin, used celebrity faces in its Fame Game. Here's a board I made up. :)

Quote:
ME (Johnny): Ana, who's on the board today?
ANA (Earthbound Zero/Mother): We have Princess Celestia.
ME: From My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.
ANA: Inu-Yasha.
ME: Obvious.
ANA: Yuki Sohma.
ME: Fruits Basket.
ANA: Rigby.
ME: Regular Show.
ANA: Big MacIntosh.
ME: My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic as well.
ANA: Sakura Haruno.
ME: Naruto.
ANA: Garfield.
ME: Duh.
ANA: Peppermint Patty.
ME: From Peanuts.
ANA: And Princess Sally Acorn.
ME: Sonic the Hedgehog. OK, there are prizes under each space, but one of them has $10 in cash. Who will you pick?

Edit: this piece is called From Nature and I did not like it a whole lot so, I sat down and pulled out my awesome .5 mechanical pencil and drew it again.

This is the second version of From Nature

Let me put this civilly: I don't people here appreciate your begging for feedback. Maybe you could use that energy studying and practicing your craft instead.

Mary Cuddles Baby Jesus
I used to imagine Jesus and his mother as Middle Eastern like most Biblical Hebrews, but recently I read a blog article pointing out that in early Christian art they would be painted with very dark skin, more like African people. This ancient convention has been called the “Black Madonna”. In continuation of the tradition, I’ve drawn and colored Mary and her son as African people, probably of Egyptian or Nubian heritage. It was a quick doodle, but I like how sweet-natured the subject matter is.

Drawn and colored while listening to Phil Collins’ “You’ll Be in My Heart”.
