For certain genres, such as sexist, commercial and ignorance-worshiping hip hop (the vast majority of hip hop)
I understand the sexist bit in regards to hip-hop, and obviously, like any mainstream music, it's commercial, but how is it "ignorance worshiping"?

I don't know, that's the state of hip-hop nowadays, and he's in general considered pretty good. Mind you, there's exceptions to the rule, I used to like lots of underground rappers, especially Del the Funky Homosapien, Common, Jurassic 5, now I don't quite as much, as my musical tastes have kinda matured, but on occasion I'll listen to them again. But, the state of hip-hop nowadays is...that...Or Soulja Boy. It's very very sad, probably one of my favorite rappers, Slick Rick, if he was thrown into the hip-hop market today, he'd see probably zero success and he'd only have a few listeners who are connoisseurs of hip-hop. Even for me, underground rap can be too negative, even if it has complex lyrics or whatever. Plus sometimes they rap about aliens and the New World Order and Ananuki and reptoids and whatever and I just don't care anymore.
