I'm surprised that no one's mentioned Coheed and Cambria, their entire albums are tied in with a science fiction story. I've never listened to rush but im told they sound similar.

this is a song i identify with. it is a yokel kind of redneck song, but it is very well done.

there was a woman who was an extreme hermit called "hattie", and she was very odd and people thought she was a witch. she lived in a hut beyond an almost impassable swamp and no one knew anything about her, and in those days, people were superstitious.

one day a disease started to ravage the town, and people were dying, and they blamed her because they thought it was her witchcraft that caused it, and they hated her.

it turns out she knew the remedy for their illness and she snuck into their town one night and left a concoction for them to drink. they were very desperate because they thought they were beaten by her so they decided to give it a try, and it healed them, and then they were elated and loved her and wanted to fetch her to come to their town, but they were turned back by an ominous warning that indicated she did not want to associate with hem, and they took her warning seriously because they thought she was very powerful .
maybe i read too much into this song, but i liked it since i was about 8 years old.

please do not watch the video but just listen to the song. the video is an amateurs attempt to present the song, but the song stands better when listened to while not looking at the crap video it is packaged with.

For those of you who don't know, the last song is based on the autobiography of Wilhelm Reich's son Peter.
Wilhelm Reich wrote important stuff about the link between sexuality and Fascism, but later went nuts and invented the orgone machine. He was a kook, but certainly didn't deserve being imprisoned and put to hard labor by the FDA.
