Heh yeah, he usually sports a scowl to rival that of Ice-T. Or even 50 cent

I remember Baby Got Back. I think I was still in elementary school when it came out.

I listen to mostly rap music. I hate anything else except for some mainstream top hits.

One of my co workers call me unique. I can listen to Pitbull to country music like Lonestar, Rascal Flatts or Alan Jackson, to other rock music like OneRepublic, The Script, Maroon 5, to Christian music like Jeremy Camp, Casting Crowns or Bebo Norman.

Not into heavy medal, jazz, goth or reggae. Bands like Kiss, Marilyn Manson, Prodigy, Disturbed are NOT for me. I'm a pianist/singer. I'm not entirely into rap, only Pitbull I like.

The closest thing to hip-hop I listen to is Kpop which is like a gentle version of hip-hop. lol

When I was in high school I liked TLC/Salt n Pepa.

I don't like most American popular music. It's probably because I haven't heard some lesser-known artists that I might actually enjoy. Even these so-called "indie" artists aren't good to me. Overall, I don't relate much to the message in American music. Some people think Kpop is just a copy of American pop, but it's actually quite different, especially the lyrics. Different mindset and paradigm on life.

I will watch some of these videos here. Maybe I will like some of it! :)

there is much more to rapping/poetry/music in general
there is really no need for a genre because when you take it apart all it is is classical/jazz/urban/anything you like
with a beat tempo of 90bpm the only reason to hate it is the crap you see on tv which glorifies abusing women drugs and money/power. the way rap was meant to be done is way past gone now it is a multi genre just like everything else,
every musical note has already been played that is all I can say and unless you make music you won't understand that.
