I'll just list bands that have had an emotional effect and/or were a turning point in my life...

Chiasm, Magnet, Electric Wizard, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, A Silver Mt. Zion, and The Union Underground (Who are mostly significant just because they got me into music) I first heard one of their songs on the Stick Death website. That was so long ago, almost like it was a different person, in a different time.
