Nice kit!

I can't play drums - I can program them and even play a bit of percussion, but the drum-kit just eludes me!

Here's my short list of synthesizers:

Yamaha TX7
Yamaha TX802
Roland Alpha Juno 1
Akai S2000

And all of those are controlled by a Synclavier PSMT!! !

Synclavier specs:
32 voices DDV sampling
32 voices FM/Additive synthesis (also capable of resynthesizing samples)
64 MB military-grade PolyRAM
1 in x 4 out MIDI option
8 audio outputs (currently unusable, though--I just go straight from the sampler/synthesizer)
Sample-to-Memory up to 100kHz sample rate
Model D processor
Software version 5.
Velocity/Pressure Keyboard (black piano lacquer, wooden keys, and all those pretty red buttons!)

Other:
Yamaha alto sax, unknown model (needs work, and I don't play that much)
LeBlanc Opus (1st generation) Bb Clarinet with L.H. Ab/Eb key
Fender 60th Anniversary American Stratocaster
Fender MIM 2008 (I think) Telecaster with Seymour Duncan stacked humbuckers
G&L Tribute L2500 electric bass with selectable active/passive, serial/parallel humbuckers

And I've got a few odds and ends laying around that never get used...

Software (highlights):

iPad apps: Fairlight CMI (everyone NEEDS THIS) and ReBirth

MacBook Pro: Logic Pro Studio 9, Reason, Ableton Live Intro (something else everyone needs), Absynth, and Finale--because SOME people have to read music!! !

I also have access to a 3-octave set of Schulmerich handbells for which I'm currently writing duets. You can check out my handbell work and Synclavier work on my youtube channel: http://www.youtube.com/angelrho

"Rejoice" is actually combined Synclavier, small orchestra, and handbell duo.

Guitars:

Fender Mexican Strat with a sparkle blue finish (Not sure of the name of this finish, just how I describe it)
Gibson Les Paul Studio fireburst
Ibanez Steve Vai Jem555WH
Ibanez RG7321BK
An old Fender acoustic that's frankly on its way out.

Amps:

Line 6 Spider 3 120w + FBV Express footswitch
Fender G-DEC (The tone sucks, and the amp has seen better days, but it was probably the most fun I had on guitar as a beginner)

Pedals:

Dunlop CryBaby GCB-95
Ibanez Jemini distortion
Boss MD-2 Mega Distortion
Digitech Whammy (Probably THE most fun pedal I've ever used, too bad about the latency and background noise)
Danelectro "Milkshake" chorus

Other accessories:

Audio Technica wireless unit
Dunlop steel slide
Shubb capo

Other instruments:

"C" harmonica
Yamaha keyboard
Yamaha DTXplorer electronic drum kit

I've got other things too, but I'm too tired right now to go into that.

I have:

Fender telecaster custom, Japanese, made in like 1996.
Dean 12 string acoustic with a broken internal electric pickup.
sh***y Fender acoustic that I got used for like $75 when I was in college, that is my go-to and I love it to death.

Also I have a Boss 8-track recording piece and a couple microphones and a keyboard that I got for free and don't really know how to play.

Sorry...I hadn't heard of those. I had to google it just to be sure you weren't making that up!

The Dehisser would be nice. Do they make a Dehummer as well?

there are several makers of dehummer. i have a roland sn-550 digital noise suppressor which [without touching the musical bass] dynamically and surgically notches out AC mains hum and its harmonics to the 5th octave, and has a gentle dehisser [with no audible pumping] as well, but the dehisser only works on relatively gentle tape hiss or mic mixer box line noise, and not on 78rpm-generated disc surface noise. you might be able to find one on ebay. it has in its favor the ability to filter in live amplified musical performance, whereas some of the other digital black boxes have some major latency. the CEDAR version [called the BRX+] is part of a suite of restoration black boxes called the X series. they are not made anymore, and seldom turn up used online or anywhere else. keep in mind that most dehissers [except for the CEDAR and the roland as well as ones made by KAB and Weiss] which are loosely based on the original National Semiconductor DNR chipset, suffer from audible noise pumping on some combinations of music and noise. but the CEDAR dehisser, while it lacks noise pumping, if it is misadjusted, it's prone to a phasey flangey metallic-sounding noise aliasing, which [as explained to me by an engineer] is caused by insufficient time constants combined with too narrowband filtering. you have probably heard what i am talking about, as some MP3 encoders do the same thing on noisy sound files. so my advice to you is to find a used roland box, it has dehumming and dehissing in one package.

from the white trash music department-

buried in a box someplace in storage, i have a homemade "clarinet" i made out of a drinking straw as an elementary school student. it sounded like a cross between a kazoo and an oboe. when i was a kindergartener, i made a homemade quasi-kalimba out of an old box and rubber bands. it entertained me at the time.

i have a Miditzer [MIDI wurlitzer theatrical pipe organ emulator] installed on one of my puters, but it needs a breakout box, AGO pedalboard and AGO midi keyboards to work as intended. it has a QWERTY keyboard demo mode, it's fun to play around with various registrations.
