^ Beautiful; such a different production. Thanks!
I didn't know she'd reworked her earlier output like this, but a quick YouTube session found plenty more. Including this, a favorite from a favorite album, "Blue".
And this, from the album of the same name...
I can see I'll be adding a few new CDs to the collection...

^ Wasn't aware of that version of Both Sides Now! Got to say that I prefer the Judy Collins one - this is a performance interpreted by Pan's People in the early 1970s, but I believe it was originally released in 1967 or 1968.

After Steve Took left Tyrannosaurus Rex, he was replaced by Mickey Finn in late 1969. The last Tyrannosaurus Rex album was A Beard Of Stars from 1970, featuring this track.

Excellent as the album version of the track is, I think it's surpassed by this live performance at the Kraalingen Festival in Holland in the summer of 1970, as captured here in the movie 'Stamping Ground'. The footage of that stoned hippie at 2:27 onwards is really priceless, and Bolan's guitar playing in the later stages of the clip is just brilliant.

Time is too slow for those who wait, Too swift for those who fear, Too long for those who grieve, Too short for those who rejoice, But for those who love, time is Eternity.
