Blondie peaked in terms of chart success in 1979-80. I think this one came a little later - great song, visuals a bit over the top though.

I lost interest in Bowie's stuff after Diamond Dogs (1974), but this 1980 single was memorable both musically and for its visuals.

Don't know much about Cockney Rebel. Steve Harley was apparently a close friend of Marc Bolan, and the latter played guitar on one of Cockney Rebel's albums. I remember a distinguished Cambridge University academic being described in 'Private Eye' magazine as John 'Come Up and Squeeze Me Sometime' Casey, lol. What on earth could that have meant.....?
