I didn't grow up there, but I lived there for almost two years as a teenager.

I've been there many times though - likely about 20 times since I was born? I still have family there.

I don't actually know that song!

I think of The Smiths for those years.

I didn't know them but my cousin dragged me to a concert and I was hooked.

Elton John is really good on 'saturdays night alright for fighting' did he ever really rock as hard as that? It's quite good.

I know a few morrissey songs, Not really familiar with them.

John Lennon spent some time in L.A. in early 70's, in separation from Yoko. Then he went back to her.

I was married to Elton when I was six. I lived in a little dreamworld which might have been dissociation I guess, but I knew it wasn't real. I was obsessed with the YBR album. I've seen him several times in concert beginning in 93 I think, and including multiple stops of his farewell tour. He has one tight band and they rock hard - they don't miss a note and Ray Cooper (bongo drums) is incredible. Elton can go a 2.5 hour show playing mad piano and singing with just one sip of water. I know most people aren't into him these days, but he's just really sentimental from my childhood. Don't bother looking at live videos because they all sound like crap with distortion. His voice is flawless live.
