^I am sorry, i know being a caregiver for someone with dementia must have been hard too. I hope at least the Arabic you learned in that time will prove to be useful.

I do like that rendition of the pokemon song. But I was trying to look up more on if the english version in america was very different...I admit I did not figure that out, just that the song in english is also very catchy. But it has made me angry that my mom discouraged pokemon when it was popular in my age group and just hearing how cool and catchy the song is makes me mad about that. Like I could have more easily made friends if my mom hadn't prevented me from getting into pokemon. grrr

Knowing that you're from Colorado, and your family banned you from Pokémon, my guess is that they were religious conservative Christians since most fundamentalist and conservative Christians abhor Pokémon since to them it teaches evolution
I should know since I come from a Greek Lebanese family of mixed Muslim and Christian background so it was forbidden in most of our extended clan to watch Pokémon and anime.
That didn't stop me from clandestinely watching it on the library computer though

^ Whoa, i thought it was going to be weird but i actually like that opening. The singer has a very nice voice too.
I can't say the same about this german naruto opening though,
I feel like that opening was just too bad to be a serious attempt at a Naruto opening. It honestly feels like a troll opening.
Then again with all due respect to the German language but it's not an elegant nor beautiful language for music. The language is way too rough and hard and seems more like a language for practical concrete things like war or science than emotional expression the way Arabic and Spanish are.
