"Those who refuse to believe, must die." Says the former Jaffa who becomes a brainwashed, 'Ori' tyrant in 'Stargate SG-1."
Wokeism/wokeology in a nutshell, in real life. The parallels are clear.
Beware of the 'God' of whatever stripe or belief system, that threatens you with punishment or death, if you do not 'believe' or 'comply' with their demands. They are false Gods.
Real Gods do not force you to worship them by aligning with their exact values & beliefs - they do not threaten you with death or exile if their wishes are not met.
Peace at the hands of a tyrant? Or to fight an unwinnable battle - with a high risk of death or self destruction? I have chosen and would choose again, the latter. I would never choose anything else.

Another good clip.
For some context here - 'the replicators' in Stargate SG-1 have epic numbers, but have one fatal flaw - they cannot comprehend real human emotion, or how powerful that can be in driving a species and which is what makes humans - human.
The woman in the video is a machine replicator, built from machine parts (there is a 'real', human Samantha Carter) counterpart.
^ The real life 'woke' mob (the replicators), have zero grasp of the damage they are doing to people with real emotions. The 'woke' mob being people who simply pay lip service to feel powerful & valued & valid, created by a system that has broken them. The 'woke' mob became the type of monsters they were created by.
The comparisons here are symbolic, not literal comparisons.

Every generation Blames the one before And all of their frustrations Come beating on your door I know that I'm a prisoner To all my father held so dear I know that I'm a hostage To all his hopes and fears I just wish I could have told him in the living years Oh, crumpled bits of paper Filled with imperfect thoughts Stilted conversations I'm afraid that's all we've got You say you just don't see it He says it's perfect sense You just can't get agreement In this present tense We all talk a different language Talking in defence I wasn't there that morning When my father passed away I didn't get to tell him All the things I had to say I think I caught his spirit Later that same year I'm sure I heard his echo In my baby's newborn tears I just wish I could have told him in the living years
The Living Years - Mike & The Mechanics
Missing my dad and saddened by his empty chair.

^ I take it that's not about Emily Bronte. I could see why you would like it though.

I've never heard it. But I'll take it, the lyrics could not be interpreted as written from' Heathcliffe's point of view' A.k.a "Cathy's song" then. Cause like, some of George Harrison's songs, they can both be interpreted as, romantic love, or religious devotion, alternatively.

Although not familiar with their albums. I know their hits. I watched this concert some years ago. Maybe 6 years ago. It was good. This song struck me, I still remember it. Though it was basically a greatest hits concert. Not a weak point the entire show.
I swear they did this, at one of the 60s show, monterey, woodstock, one of those, i cant remember. But I watched those like 10 years ago. On a 60s music kick. Like I said, I'm only familiar with them on a superficial level. I'e always thought they were good. I just never delved into their albums, other than maybe one of their early folk albums, whatever one had sound of silence on it.
