New FJM!!

Funny girl, you look so unassuming
Right up until the room you’re captivating
Starts to fill with gut-busting laughter
And you’re transformed into a five foot Cleopatra

~Funny Girl

Sadly, I feel real love, unlike Data who has the benefit of not having the capacity.

Sometimes at work, when I need to go mad, I play the Chipmunks' version, slowed down:

Everything is catching on fire

They Might Be Giants - Flood (1990)

Image

Telephone call for Mr. Horrible
But before he can talk to the ugliness men
There's some horrible business left
For him to attend to
Something unpleasant has spilled on his brain
As he sponges it off they say...

GAWD - I loved them back then (1990)

They were just the greatest thing, weren't they?

Birdhouse in Your Soul

(also Constantinople - too tired to find it)

^Yes, I really love their songwriting. Especially the first four albums, but they've always had great songs. I was really into them from around age 14-20, I guess. I played these to death. "Santa's Beard" is still one of the only Christmas songs I like :)

Dead Kennedys - Plastic Surgery Disasters (1982)

Image

The crowded future stings my eyes
I still find time to exercise
In uniform with two white stripes

Unlock my section of the sand
It's fenced off to the water's edge
I clamp a gas mask on my head

I'm not really a big fan of them. But I love this song... (The solo especially.)

This ^, Paradise city, and of course Welcome to the jungle.
