A song that was apparently left in an unfinished state by Marc Bolan when he was a member of John's Children in 1967. Released by the band's frontman Andy Ellison in 1968. Interesting.

Hmmm.....and here's Ellison with another group many decades later performing the song in Finland. Quite a powerful rendition, though I don't care for his yobbish antics towards the end.

Here's probably the best known release by John's Children, written by Bolan. It was banned by the BBC because of the 'Lift up your skirt' line.

This is an astonishing performance of 'Desdemona' by American singer Marsha Hunt. She also covered one or two other songs by Marc Bolan, with whom she is believed to have had an affair in the late 1960s.

This was a favorite of mine an adolescent flipping through channels. I Don't know why. I guess I just like Christopher Walken.

^ I like her. Shes strangely seductive. (not that shes ugly, I find her pretty nice lookin here.) Ive heard that song before. I just didn't know who sung it. She reminds me of Kate bush. Not the fact they're both redheads. The voice. High range.
