Figured I would post some of my normal photography as well (and now I'll stop posting for a while, I swear lol). The pigeons are from the reflection pools at the 9/11 Memorial in NYC, and the other ones are more local photos I took. Well, other than the guitar one; that one is pretty heavily processed rather than just normal photography. I'm linking these from my Facebook, so unfortunately the quality is degraded. :S I don't have any hard copies on this computer.

Yet another bit of Your Lie in April artwork - this time, of Kousei's childhood friend, Tsubaki Sawabe dressed in the 1970s Montreal Alouettes uniform.

I recently started putting my photography on etsy under AdventuringCreations. I don't know if other people like it, but I like it a lot. I consider it my artwork. (I'm in the geochemistry field, so anything like that I consider art.)
I paint as well, but I don't have images of my paintings. They are mostly water colors, and nothing special, but they keep me busy and clear my head.

Hi folks.
First off, some very incredible art throughout this thread. I hope one day to get even close to the level of most people here.
I figured I'd share a slideshow I put together with some of my works here. I was never into art as a kid because of motor skill deficits which still follow me to this day. I have a lot of catching up to do. I have only been drawing for about a year and painting for 6-7 months. I am self taught. I do it for emotional release, mostly. Catharsis. My passion at the present moment is with guitar and art and photography, but my career is in a more analytical and pragmatic "computer science-y" field, working with a technology called Drupal. With music and art, I simply improvise. Most anything that is right in the moment is right to me. I do have a number of what I'd consider entirely failed works, with my lack of technique, though.
Also, my own analysis is that my work can be either very vibrant and colourful, or very ugly and dark, as evident at this video. I'm an Aspie but also bipolar/manic-depressive, with bad enough anxiety and disjointed enough thoughts to where I've questioned if I have a form of schizophrenia, at times. My work can reflect my negative moods just as much as anything, as such.
Anyway, here is the slideshow of a lot of the "best" of what I've done over the past year:
I also did the guitar (electric) with a friend who does slide guitar, but that isn't my best work with a guitar, at all. I said this in the music thread but I don't record myself when I'm playing at my best, it seems, maybe due to my anxiety. I was a little out of tune and just loosely looking for the texture, more than coherency, in any case. Just jamming, like the Deadhead that I guess I am (I'm not a diehard Deadhead but I do love the music and artistry associated with and coming from that band).
The last thing I wanted to say: go easy on me, please. I am a sensitive person and am just starting out. I'm fine if no one likes it or gets into it, but if so, please just don't be too harsh. At this stage, I am an extreme self doubter and depressive person. I'm putting myself out there on the internet more of late, but with much hesitation and uncertainty, that is.

You would be suprised how many In The art world feel similar to you. Some very nice work there. I especially liked the clouds reflected in the water shot. You have a very good eye.
