From the summer of 1975. Pan's People was the resident dance group on 'Top Of The Pops' from about 1968 to 1976, their best known members being Babs Lord, who was married to actor Robert Powell, and the choreographer Flick Colby.

Late summer 1973, one of the last great performances from T Rex on 'The Midnight Special' American TV show. The original band members are still here (Marc Bolan, Mickey Finn, Steve Currie and Bill Legend), and there was also the presence on this tour of second lead guitarist Jack Green (in the darker blue shirt). Bill Legend quit the band shortly after.

Bolan's marriage to June Child was on the verge of disintegrating because of his affair with Gloria Jones (the backing vocalist in red and white), and the stuff he released from this point on was at best mediocre and at worst just abysmal. Hard core fans will tell you he was on the verge of a huge comeback just before his death in 1977, but I don't believe there's much evidence to support it, however much I'd like to.
