Let's just agree on how every song from every anime is pretty much high-pitched, annoying nonsense. Unless it's Eurobeat, which in that case is passable.

As for me it's probably anything by this guy, speaking of crappy J-Pop:

Holy crap, that's like chewing on aluminum foil! They actually captured the sensation in song form. Wow.

I can't say what's the most annoying but anything by Taylor Swift annoys me pretty badly these days. She's a very mediocre songwriter and singer, and her lyrics just reinforce that destructive "I'm nobody without a cute boyfriend" mentality in young girls. .

The latest one is Whip My Hair, which was only made because its 10 year old "singer" is Will Smith's daughter.

With the sound turned down, all of Taylor Swift's videos are great.

I dunno... all that Barbie eye make-up just makes her look like she's expecting someone to smack her in the face. After watching the video for a minute, I actually did want to smack her in the face, so that's about right. I may have the courage to watch it with the sound on someday.

Wow that's harsh. She's certainly a fashion icon for young girl and young women here in the US now and so she tends to be done up to the nines, full make-up, hair done, high fashion clothes. I mean,, she even had Taylor Guitars make her a handmade acoustic guitar--the body was completely covered in rhinestones, which made it probably unplayable, but hey, it was a fashion statement! You don't see her playing guitar so much these days because she has to show off her spiffy dresses, flowing blond hair and svelte figure. I find her endlessly irksome, but I don't wish violence upon her.

And isn't it harsh to read so much into an idle comment?

To feel an inclination is nature. To act upon it, or to not act upon it, is choice. It's not as if I was headed to... wherever she is to carry out the temporary urge to smack her. It also was not as if I said I wished she should be harmed. I never said I wished her to be harmed. I don't know that I care to have motives applied to me that I never stated I had.

It wasn't her clothes or make-up that irritated me. I think it was all the cutesy flouncing about that annoyed me in much the same manner as a fly buzzing about my face. The eye make-up does make her look like she's expecting something to hit her, or as if the sun is in her eyes.

Tell you what. If you're so worried about being nice to people, avoid threads on topics such as most annoying songs and the like.

Which topic we should probably return to.

Really anything from the Pussycat Dolls - all of the songs I've heard by them are repetitive the first time, and downright grating the hundredth time. I remember in middle school and high school, whenever they came out with a new song, it was ALWAYS overplayed on the radio - it drove me insane!

And I also agree with whoever said Nickleback was annoying.
