^^This used to be called Afro-Cuban? Maybe still is? I'm terrible at keeping the subgenres straight.

More Jaco, with Joni (and Wayne, and...) God I LOVE the walking bass at the very end of this...



@Legomaster: you done it again. I had a kitty who loved this song, ages ago. She'd come out and frisk whenever it was playing! I started singing her a version with her name in the lyrics. Thank you :-)

Finding it a bit hard to know where one genre ends and another begins, these days, but, Ive never been the best at categorizing or drawing lines, per se. Not sure if this is funk or disco_or, either/both? This is one of those songs that keeps me in a motivated, positive mood...

I love this soundtrack! On a side note, in my youth, I was a figure skater and I did my first, ever, recital to Shaft. : )
