Wonderful news. While work on my 'commercial' novel has stalled badly, I have finally recieved inspiration for my first novel in the cyberpunk (although on reflection, it's more postcyberpunk) series. The plot from my original version will be integrated into the second novel, which I thought didn't have a fully fleshed-out story.

Practice makes perfect. Maybe there are authors who can spiel out polished prose on the first draft. But anytime someone goes on like, "Yerss, it all came to me one dark & stormy night, and I wrote the whole thing during the next 18 hours" ... well, I'm disinclined to believe them, to put it politely.
