Last time I checked my archives I had over 25,000 images saved to disk. I have a lot of stress at times and this meaningless pursuit is very relaxing. The program that makes most of the images I make is freeware and I will share to any who want to explore fractals. No knowledge of fractal geometry is necessary, but it increases the pleasure if numbers aren't a hassle for you.

Oi gevalt! Can you say obsessive-compulsive Billy? Would that be Fractint you addicted to? I flipped when I first saw it. Would have been version 7.0 running on an 8088 with a Hercules card. It was the reason I scraped up enough for a 256 color VGA card. Ooo! Color-cycling! (and a wee bit of LSD eh?) Deeper meanings... these things are the borders of phase changes. Compex /= complex. Personally, I think that's where all the info that creates us resides.

Ok, you gonna read this ugly mug for a while untill I get caught up wid y'awll eh? N0ob! *grin* Photograpy! Had the borry of me mum's fine digital this past year. Here's well, what I consider the best of what I got. Gotta carry the thing with you all the time just in case. Toss out 19 out of 20 shots, and out of them 1 in 20 will be decent. Ever notice that when you're carrying around a camera your eyes see clearer and your perception sharpens?

And more wee beasties...

Ok, I have to say this was the singular best picture I caught, well, ever. Check the contrast and the color on the bug. Perfect camoflage for the green behind but sharp detail on the lady's slipper. Nice!

Part II
Anyone here ever done any coding with PovRay? ( www.povray.org ) I was hammering away at it in the 386 era when it was DKB-Raytrace. Looong time ago. I'm sure any of the serious math freakazoids will be familiar.

My usual disclaimer applies: If you post there, please don't mention that you saw me here. I'm not even sure if I'm an Aspie yet. I intend to talk to a professional to find out for sure and I will decide then.

Here's a drawing I did shortly after I joined. Thought it could mean something...

http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i250/ ... Planet.png

^Obviously inspired by Wrong Planet's logo :D In fact if you look closely I even mimiced the logo's planet 'O'

I've clicked on the link and the drawing didn't come through. I know I'd like it, though.

EDIT: And then I find she's already seen it. Bugger.
