I hereby offer you a tiny dose of positive vibrations, sorely needed to heal a troubled world.

The sound you are hearing was plucked from the air by the simple facility of a moving membrane, translated into a continuously wavering electrical pulse, thence to be rendered into an idealized binary form, the Yin and Yang of the information backbone of our era.

Many intermediate steps lie along the path from the mind of the singer to yours. The last two steps in the external realm are very close to exactly mirroring the first two, resulting in sound that can be a worthy simulacrum to the singer's initial neural impulses, created perhaps thousands of miles away and decades ago.

This dry, technocratic process can nonetheless instill feelings of peace, anger, love, hate, and many other emotions.
It is Time in a Bottle and Walk 500 Miles, Greensleeves and Both Sides Now.

The very momentary context of one's life experience and state of mind will then translate into thoughts that are entirely personal to your own being, never able to be fully shared with another simple creature, sadly.
We can shape this experience to some degree, but a large part of it is out of our control, and giving ourselves to the uncertainty of the experience is part of the pleasure...
