Awesome. When I first glanced at this I thought it was a picture. I love how you have the sun's reflection off the water "shimmering."

After looking at this, the first thing that came to my mind was one of the many sunsets I have viewed while in the mountains here in Idaho. Thanks for waking up my memories. :)

Such wonderful color contrast. They bring so much feeling out for me.

The blues make me feel I can fall asleep in a sea of calmness and tranquility. The reds and purples make me feel I can float in a sky of warmth and life. ... and there in the middle of your splendid work are flowers. Flowers that are the true royalty of our planet; that crown our home in the vastness of space as living jewels.

... I have been feeling depressed lately while having anxiety over some things. I have wanted to write, but have not had the energy. Now, after viewing your painting, I am going to go put on some classical music and work on some poetry. Thank you for helping me.

30 seconds into a Jack Johnson song...the colors don't show as nicely but I like to scribble with colorful scent-free markers on a white board. I call it QUICK ART!! ! and nice job HAL, I am wearing similar patterned pants right now.
