It's a good thing everybody on this forum knows who Alex. Wes and Geordin are, otherwise those names would appear as completely random names with no relevancy to the conversation.

Something tells me they won't "get" what you said.

Yeah, tell him to keep on dancing. Oh and it's just rude to comment on someone's writing, how do you know that they don't have dyslexia or something? It is English and I can read it just fine.

Dyslexia affects reading, nor writing.

Dysgraphia affects writing, but for some reason, despite it being in the DSM, people on or off the spectrum still seem to outright deny it's existence and say it's nothing more than an excuse.

Actually my best friend has dyslexia and it does affect her writing on a computer. Still why should it matter to you or anyone else whether someone is spelling correctly? As long as you can understand it.

I get reminded of Michael Jackson everyday....Today I was in a shop and the staff sat in a booth and listened to his music and said "Wacko Jacko".....I just only think everything around him is so incredible sad....

Enjoy your biking! I just get narked when people critisize spelling because of my dyslexic friend. I always stuck up for her!

It seems to be a Yank sort of thing. Too much fame, too much money, internal misery, post mortem fame. At least I can't think of any of our folks who fall into this category.

Perhaps Wino if she overdoses ???

Hmm...

I was never a massive MJ fan but seriously I think everyone has got him totally wrong. One guy earlier in this thread said he thought MJ might have AS/HFA and I reckon that could be part of MJ's problem.

Like, for instance...

How many people on WP say they never grow up and still look like teenagers and play kids games?

How many people on WP are seen by NTs as eccentric?

One time I replied to a guy's thread on WP who even had a similar problem to MJ where he lay in the same bed as a kid and got accused of molesting when it was obviously nothing of the sort...

I was 28 when I finally realised that if you so much as lie in the same bed as someone else most other people believe that to be sexual... It seems that even most HFA people seem to fall for this misconception but you have to bear in mind some autistic people just aren't development socially and emotionally in that way!

I definitely don't think MJ raped those little ones. I think their parents (and themselves to a lesser extent) just made a big fat fuss about the fact that they happened to lie in the same bed. If you think about it, I reckon most NTs would kick up a fuss if their kids lay in the same bed as an adult.

I'm surprised that people on WP are being so judgmental about this.

And you know what else, even if MJ did have a personal psychologist it's probable that they would not have known enough about him or AS/HFA to realise that he was autistic because he is very high-functioning and also only specialists in developmental disorders are able to diagnose ASDs. My current psychologist knows nothing about me and I have to tell her everything. I asked her if she has ever met anyone like me before and she says she has not!

So now you can disagree with me hehe, Sam :) x

I've never heard anyone here on WP say they are addicted to plastic surgery.

True!

But did MJ actually say that he was addicted to plastic surgery or did NTs just declare that he was?
I think that the plastic surgery thing was related to some kind of anxiety issue?
I used to be really anxious about the way I looked when I was younger and borderline anorexic, I think it's related to perfectionism.

I definitely think there are lots of other issues in MJ's case but lots of things about him and the way he was very much remind me of myself.

Except that I would have a water-park in my Neverland with loads and loads of different flumes and different pools. I'm also quite partial to climbing frames (the spider-web type ones) and adventure playgrounds.

I guess we'll never know but I really wish I could have met him so I could find out!

Sam :) x
