Silverchair "Anas' song" It just sounds so sad, also, it reminds me of a friend that i fell out with that was really unpleasent as the **** started picking on me and betrayed my trust.

Silverchair "Suicidal Dreams" The lyrics reflect exactly how i've felt when depressed or upset.

Kate Bush "Wuthering Heights" Didn't affect me until i found out what happened, it's so tragic.

I know a cure for your Wuthering Heights fixation.

There is an album called Goosefair by a Newcastle melodic punk band called China Drum. They sound a lot like Green Day. The hidden song on the end of this album is a cover version of Wuthering Heights and it's one of the funniest things I've ever heard. Hearing a Geordie bloke singing "Dear Heathcliffe, I hated you... I loved you too!" over a wall of guitars.... Fantastic.

You'll never be able to listen to the original again, without smiling. It is the antidote.

It's ok, I know what you mean. I do love the original Kate Bush song, too. 8)

If you can't find the China Drum version, PM me and I'll send you a copy.

Tool - Right in two

Lyrics:

"
Angels on the sideline,
Puzzled and amused.
Why did Father give these humans free will?
Now they’re all confused.

Don’t these talking monkeys know that
Eden has enough to go around?
Plenty in this holy garden, silly old monkeys,
Where there’s one, you're bound to divide it,
Right in two.

Angels on the sideline,
Baffled and confused.

Father blessed them all with reason.
And this is what they choose.
Monkey, killing monkey, killing monkey.
Over pieces of the ground.

Silly monkeys give them thumbs,
They forge a blade,
And where there's one they're bound to divide it,
Right in two.
Right in two.

Monkey, killing monkey, killing monkey.
Over pieces of the ground.
Silly monkeys give them thumbs,
They make a club.
And beat their brother down.
How they survive so misguided is a mystery.
Repugnant is a (not dismal) creature who would
Squander the ability to lift an eye to heaven, conscious of his fleeting time here

Guide it right all right in two.
Guide it right all right in two.
Guide it right all right in two.
Guide it right all right in two.

Fight, over the clouds, over the earth, over sky.
Fight, over life, over blood, over air and light.
Over love, over sun, over another.
Fight, till they die (not all the time) Over what? Over Lies and (greed).

Angels on the sideline again.
Blessed with love and patience and reason.
Angels on the sideline again.
Wondering when this tug of war will end.

Guide it right all right in two.
Guide it right all right in two.
Guide it right all right in two.
Right in two.
Right in two
"

What I love most about Tool is the ability to appeal to both sides (religious and science) and yet show the errors in judging one from the others view.

Beethovan's 9th symphony: Ode to Joy--it transcends this terrestrial experience.

good riddance (time of your life) by green day

my dad made a slideshow for my grandma's funeral, a little bit over a year ago, it was put to that song

'another turning point
a fork stuck in the road
time grabs you by the wrist
directs you where to go'

When I was little, "Greensleeves" on the music box made me cry. I feel a little choked up when I hear 707's "Whole Lot Better":

Otherwise, music usually doesn't make me emotional.
