Roky is an amazing talent, and criminally overlooked by the mainstream. Nice to see someone else reference him here.
I've been obsessed with Pink Floyd's "High Hopes" since the first time I heard it in 1994. I'd never paid much attention to the Floyd before, but when I heard that song its themes "clicked" with me immediately. The loss of childhood innocence, broken friendships, the burden of painful memories and bad choices in life. Not exactly uplifting, but eighteen years later it still moves me. I can't imagine any other song replacing it as my favorite.
