Uh, oh god, hahah, well....there are so many pages of sketches on here I didn't know where to start commenting. There's really something especially pleasing about looking at the rawness of doodles and sketches, I suppose because it conveys life and movement.

This one's another concept art, this time for a superhero film I've got coming up. Fashion advice would be much appreciated.

My gosh....I havent forgotten about this thread. But several issues in me has prevented me from returning here.
I started to dig all my drawings and fast realised there was none I could consider to share here

Later on I choosed a couple of very simple images I could bring on and I scanned them in
Then I stuck on getting myself a host for the images. I didnt want either Flickr or Photobucket and didnt know what to choose instead

And then I saw even more amazing images here thinking Im not even close to the grade of professionalism thats shown here so I thought "just drop it"...

and so on and so on......typical example of a slow process of mine

Anyway, thanks RoadRacer for the photolink. I saw that thread too but again stuck on some thoughts if I should bring on something myself...

Lemon, I was curious of your work as I saw the cat in the name the cat thread, thanks for sharing, its interesting - like all work of this thread is.

Dentu, you will make an animation out of that?

Nah, this is for a live action film. That's Comet, the protagonist. After she dyes her hair to match, I've got a good actress for the part that looks very similar to this concept art. I'll be designing and manufacturing her outfit myself. Right now I'm planning on using a sky blue theme, with extra stretchy jersey mesh compounded with wet-look spandex to give it some textural contrast. My design theory for her outfit is 'loose, comfortable and modest, but still form fitting and sexy'.

Right thats cool Dentu. Um...are you clothes designer? Sewing the outfits and make sketches like this to get the feeling on how it might look? I have done that. I had a period when I amused myself with making sketches of designed clothes that I later have made in textile

I wouldn't call myself a designer, but I've done this sort of thing in the past. I'm handy with a needle and I've gotten pretty good at realizing my 2-D designs in 3-D. I like to create cool themes and mix together different materials for an eye-catching ensemble. My personal style is a sort of basic and bold.

EDIT: I went ahead and colored it to better visualize the color scheme. Yeah, my shading sucks :P

Such good stuff here. :)

I wish I knew how to draw faces like you guys. I really only know how to sketch inanimate stuff that doesn't have to be so exact in order to look good. Stuff like plants, trees, mountains, clouds, etc.

I happen to write comics sometimes. Here's my most recent project, still in pencil (under heavy contrast so you can actually see it)-

It's a re imagining of my first book, a superhero comedy called Sanitational Worker. Less random, and with a bigger focus on non-superbeings. If you think this is funny, I certainly wouldn't be against someone actually buying my book for once.

Very good stuff in this thread!

Here's a pastel sketch I made a couple of years ago. It was with chunky pastels so was quite challenging.
