Sweet, thanks! I plan to play around with it again in an hour or so.

A better way for me is to just open audacity in the background, hit record, and then play back on soundnation... I can fiddle with stuff on the fly then, and export straight to mp3.

Might try making a tune on this thing sometime.

BTW, I've got some free time these days and - if anyone wants to partner up to do something twisted, deep, and exploratory let me know.

"Twisted, deep, and exploratory..." hmmm... What do you have in mind?

I've been having some fun with an Obie Matrix 1000 using JSynthLib for programming. The Synclavier sampler uses a variable sampling rate--much fun when you want something like a machine eating its own guts. Summer is here already in Mississippi, so I've been leaving it off to keep the house cool. But I wouldn't mind having an excuse to fire it up for a couple of hours.

Maaan... I forgot how time consuming making videos was. haha

Anyway, this is a short one as it's really just a tester to see how the video process works. I'm not even sure I like it anymore. I did when I exported it.

Moods and textures of this kind of consistency:

Not necessarily the same mood but definitely deep, moody, pull-at-your-head-from-different-angles type stuff.

Yeah, we've had near 70's in northern Ohio for a while, its been nice but we're still not sure what we'll be getting for summer.

I didn't know I could fit 24 mins in one video, but anyway here it goes...

It's a bunch of craziness mixed together with no style, but I like it (a bit).

I can see a new subgenre crawling out of this!

ADHD-Techno? Wrongplanet-Techno?

PS I like how the melody at 4:06 just stops unexpectedly.

That's good tea. Sounds like it wants a vocal part.

Hmm, I was considering vocals for it. Have to think more, though.

Thanks.

If you're looking for a mic I hear this one in particular is a good all-around:
