Esconced in my hotel room with a few hours to go before the gig.
Think I'll abuse the hot water system since I'm not paying for gas.

My favourite Teenage Bottlerocket track to get me in the mood.

Awesome gig despite dreadful sound quality. You'd swear they were using class C biased amps.
Bottlerocket play non stop just like the Ramones, and played at least 8 of my favourites. I didn't even manage to get a pic of the setlist before they vanished.

For today's Australiana... Hightime.

Here's a band who just don't seem to be able to bottle their energy and transfer it to the studio, but they're great live.

Sorry Jimmy, I could not find a Match Pelican track that I would classify as thrash.
These guys however I do.... they eventually start playing at 1:00

Not quite thrashy enough for my taste, but a hot frontwoman covers a multitude of sins.
(No...I don't mean she is doing a cover of a "Multitude of Sins" track !)

I was not expecting them to be British.
That had me in stitches, thanks Elwyn.

While I'm laughing I'll repost this.

Back to Australiana.
I did an 8° downbubble into Ozzie heavy metal and emerged without a single track that wasn't full of screaming and monotony.
So I went back to my youth and remembered the Mark of Cain.
Again...not quite my style, but they were pretty ubiquitous in the pub circuit.
I'll include their cover of an (Australian) X song despite the crappy audio.

The Living End made it big time... I'm guessing everyone knows them.
