Anyone read Young Wizard Series, cool autie character

Okay so we have a ton of HP fans in here but has anyone else read this fantasy series. Its a pretty good series and right now Im on the 6th book in the series where it inserts Darryl McAllister (sp) whos a young cool autie... well at least I think hes cool Im not that far into it, and really does start talking about alot of the stuff in autism, including alot of the good parts (like a lil ways into it they go inside of his mind and theres statues there that you would think are real because he can see so much detail.) Oh and the first 5 books dont suck either (though I must warn you some of the book are a bit slow.) Well go read them the first one is So You Want to Be a Wizard.

I finished the story and didnt really like the ending... its not the nicest to auties but I wonder in future books if he will still show some autie like characteristics...
