REM who is one of the greatest bands ever is breaking up. I will sad to not hear any new music from them.

Yes, I think they are possibly my favourite group, for both their talent and because I associate them so strongly with certain times and people in my life. Was very sad to hear of their break up.

'Tis sad. My brother was listening to Everybody Hurts yesterday, unaware that they had split up. It's like the perfect song for a moment like this, albeit ironic. :(

Also, I know everyone in the world probably hates Shiny Happy People, but I love it :)

I liked that song too.
Why?? are they splitting up?? They are not my faverate band, but one of the few bands that I do like.

my fave song by them is radiohead.
