Rembrandt (Harmenszoon) van Rijn.... An etching of himself (1630) when he was 23/24 years old. Out of all the works he made I picked this one because it's so expressive and seemingly made with such ease.

shastania...did you ever play "darkseed"? it's an old amiga game that giger did all the artwork for, there are some seriously messed up images in that game ^.^

Thank you, Anna. Thought it could be nice. Most pictures posted here are beautiful pieces of art, I think.
And CL, don't know what you mean with the smiley/emoticon but I was just trying to help. And of course Picasso needs to be shown. In general I would say.

I can't see the second picture, the Picasso, you posted. It's still not shown. It's a little red cross on my screen. No worries, but....
