Massive Attack - Splitting The Atom

I've really been looking forward to this one for a long time, seems like they're saying 2010 - which is okay as long as its going to be a double cd's worth of music like Daddy G is indicating. They have four pre-released tunes from the up and coming, one with Tunde Adebimpe from TV on the Radio, one with Martina Topley Bird (formerly worked with Tricky now more with Gorillaz), Stephanie Dosen has also been thrown into the mix - I get the impression that they'll be doing a handful of tunes with her, she's been singing Liz Frasier's old tunes live and 'Kingpin' has already snuck out on to Youtube.

Another interesting note (this is one that I know anna-banana will be excited about) - its also been hinted that when Splitting the Atom is done, Burial will be remixing the entire cd.

Anyone else looking forward to this? Thoughts? Feelings? Other people you hope 3D and Daddy G might have collabed with? I'll at least throw the Youtube links up here as food for thought:

Been too many years so a double album sounds promising. Burial just keep pushing the boundaries so a very interesting choice if that is true. I suppose (in my probably ill informed opinion) Burial did for dubstep what Massive Attack did for triphop by giving it mainstream appeal without compromising the music but actually being immensely innovative. So I wonder if one by-product might be dubstep moving closer to triphop, as I feel it must eventually move somewhere.

I've heard they've been working with Hope Sandoval, Guy Garvey and Dot Allison, any of which would be greatly appreciated.

Anyone know if they are going for a particular style?
