No one really taught me how to draw, it was something I seemed knowing how to do. I have dreamed of making a carreer out of cartooning since I was a kid. However, that doesn't seem very likely to happen now.
I've put a few of my creations in newspapers here and there and in a couple of magazines, but my chances of becoming a full-time cartoonist where I actually get paid real money doing what I love seems like just a dream.
Why do you think it seems unlikely to happen now? You are still young.
I imagine it would be a competitive field. How do most cartoonists go about making a career of it? Do most go to art school?
Have you put any of your stuff on the net and tried to advertise it?
Or have you ever considered collaborating with other artists and/or writers?
