Who's good at making wallpapers/desktop pictures?

i just got a new MacBook Pro and i'd like a wallpaper to make it look interesting. i'll PM the images and some ideas for anyone who can help.

Screenshots from the newer iTunes visualizers can make pretty good desktop pictures.

Why not do your own? You can get Bryce (landscapes), Daz 3d (figures), Wings 3d (models), etc., for free.

You just need to create a size that fills the screen.

because i'm no graphic wiz and my last one couldn't capture the entire image on my Mac after trying to modify the size.

I'm not great at making things from scratch in Photoshop, but I've made some decent abstract wallpapers using a combination 3DS MAX and Photoshop before.

Here's one of the last wallpapers I made...

Do you mean all those in one image? That would be a little hard to balance. You should check out a program called Gimp, its an open source image editor similar to photo shop. I made my avatar in it and its got a lot of filtering and effects stuff you can run on an image.
