I was in my teenage years when the rave scene first started. It was something so far away from the norm... it was amazing. In spite of my aspieness I used to go out to loads of raves - I suppose they were good places to be in a way, no chance of being able to talk to people over that kind of volume!!

I totally agree. Especially the rock, metal and alternative of today. What was once good is now dead.
