ive heard it mentioned on here that he is incontinent. is this true and can anyone confirm it it is? i do adore him as well and although i dont share this need i admire him all the same

Well, The Kinks did record a track called "Mick Avory's Underpants", so maybe he really does have bathroom troubles.

Due to an incident that happened at a night club in 1965, he ended up having to wear protection. A DJ sexually assaulted him by shoving his 4 fingers up Mick's back exit because his girlfriend wanted his baby. Ray Davies stated in the book, X-Ray that Mick doesn't like to talk about what happened afterwards.

Also The Kinks recorded a song in 1968 and they were trying to find a title for it. Mick left the studio for a lunch break, because he loves food. When he came back to the studio, he found out that the other three Kinks named the song, "Mick Avory's Underpants" in light of his problem.

I also don't think that the real Mick Avory would appreciate us having this conversation so I feel that it's best if we just let this thread die.
