Possibly 3 of the best guitarists of all time, but not all THAT famous because of the type of music they play.
No mention of Stanley Clark? Easily one of(if not the) best bassist ever. Although, as much as I don't like the chili peppers, I do have to admit that flea is a damn good bassist as well. In fact, I've seen a vid of him playing with Stanley Clark and a bunch of other badass bassists. They tore it up! And Les Claypool will always be a god.

The way he plays that thing, you'd almost think it was a guitar. Which... As anyone who can play guitar and has tried their hand at bass can tell you... Playing a bass like you'd play lead guitar is hard. lol. I dunno... maybe its just something about the thicker strings... I'm not sure. All I know is it's difficult
