In my signature is the link to my webcomic Ruby's World, a sci-fi story where two of the four leads are autistic, and disability themes are very prevalent. Especially in recent chapters, which apply disability to the eugenics debate at the heart of the story.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

I'd say the story is very good, as are the characters. I agree with what some other people have said there about your artwork. It's interesting, but isn't very anatomically correct and the marker lines can be distracting. I, too, struggle with drawing human forms. I have drawn images (not traced) from the Bionicle comics, which are bio-mechanical life forms. They have curves, but said curves are always anchored by straight lines.

Have you experimented with programs like Autodesk Sketchbook? It's designed to work with a mouse or tablet. The program itself is as much as $200 and tablets cost about as much. Still, I wish I had them...

Thank you, Apera! I really appreciate the honest feedback. Human forms are indeed very difficult to get right, but I'm learning. It's true that robotic figures are easier to draw.

I haven't really done well with computer-based illustration, but then, I haven't really had access to good programs. I'll investigate the options and start putting away money for whatever works best for a Mac Laptop.

I'm surprised that nobody else posted here... anyway, here is one of my old drawings I happened across.

I did d/l a Sketchbook trial a while back, but I never had the time to play with it.

I like it! I don't know anything about Bionicle, but you did a good job structuring the robot convincingly-- which, while not as difficult as a human form, is still a challenge ( a lot of artists for the character Iron Man have struggled with this ).
