Does anyone else hear feel that the housemartins were a grossly underrated band. paul heaton in my opinion is a legendary wordsmith. anyone else agree on both counts. wb if u wish :) thanks.

I've heard very little of The Housemartins. I have the "Caravan of Love" 7'' vinyl single, but I tend to shy away from overtly religious music. I really like a lot of what their bassist Norman Cook has done with his solo project Fatboy Slim, though.

When he's good he's very good, and when he's bad he's awful. Though I'm basing that opinion on the BS, haven't heard much by the Housemartins. :wink:

i can swear to you that the housemartins ae not really religious. its just that one song really. i suggest u listen to build and i smell winter. awesome tunes. especially build. shows how talented they were.
