Are there any fans of Tennessee Williams? If so, what are some of your favorite works from him?
I did my Junior Thesis on him and had a lot of fun researching him. I just finished reading The Glass Menagerie for my Dual Credit English class and though it was a bit depressing I really enjoyed it. I've also seen the movie version of A Streetcar Named Desire and it was okay.
What I find interesting about him is that his works often dealt with subjects that were taboo for his time, such as human sexuality.
Hands down, all time favorite playwright!! !! ! The character of Tom, in Menagerie, is supposedly autobiographical, and I've always related to that character.
Also, I'm not ashamed to admit, i cried when he died.

Why didn't you enjoy it?
I suppose I just don't really like Drama. But the teacher was a bad lecturer, so maybe she just ruined the enjoyment of it. I have a copy of the play at home, maybe I'll read it again and see if I enjoy it more.
