Since the "Display your artwork" thread has most of the time finished stuff, here's this thread to display your sketches, works in progress, etc

(:

Hmm...havta go look. Usually if I start something, I go until it's done.

Let's see if that worked. I'm a member of I don't know how many art sites I belong to, and none of them are as hard to post images to as this.

Some people may recognize this character; it hasn't been rigged as a character, but has been textured and uvmapped

thank you for the unbiased and compassionate reply...;)

That being said, this is overly complicated. How hard would it be to just map the pig to your hard drive?...;)

BTW, have you tried Carrara for 3d modeling? I've just used a couple of times, seems nice

I have a couple of versions of it; maybe 2 or 3 back. Fiddled with it some...;) Reminds me of Bryce in a way. I've seen some very good work done in Carrara, though.

This pic is something called Wings 3d; it's a good beginner box modeler, you can do some interesting things in it with modeling, uvmapping, and best of all, it's free...;)

Ok,. lessee where the HTML error was
The code I got from Photobucket (who can you trust?...;)
http://s269.photobucket.com/albums/jj46 ... nished.jpg

and yours....

I see now. I failed with the help of Photobucket...;) K - I'll be able to bore you all with pictures from now on...;)

I assume you're talking about posting the image. I just clicked the link to your image and it sent me to a page. There, I just copied the LAST code, it's at the bottom right. The one that starts with [IMG]
that code you just have to PASTE it here, and it already has the [IMG] tags (so there's even no need to click the image button ^ in the toolbar)

I tried Wings3d years ago, it gave me nightmares, I never liked the way you work in there.

This is the manipulated version. I can post the earlier one, if you'd prefer.

This was made freehand.

This is after I started modifying it with tools.
