Not sure if all of you know about avril's new album Black Star coming out later this year, but from what I read from Wiki and a Rolling Stone issue it should be a fair improvement, so be prepared for something different, at least. In the meantime, if you want, post your top five fave avril songs and discuss any thoughts related to or about Avril (NO complaints about new stuff or new avril)...and maybe add a trivia question for us to answer! anything you want, but no negative action, of course. here are my top fave songs:

1. Complicated
2. Things I'll Never Say
3. How does it Feel
4. Losing Grip
5. Don't Tell Me

actually its a pretty random list but whatev. enjoy!
*c.l.*

I'm not an Avril Lavigne fan, so I'm not in any position to make a top 3 of favourite songs, but I must say that I do quite like the ballads "I'm With You" and "My Happy Ending". And when "Complicated" first hit the radio stations and music channels (back when I was fifteen, ahh, nostalgia), I was quite fond of that song too. I just quickly listened to bits and pieces of Avril's singles on Youtube, up until "He Wasn't". I had almost forgotten some of them.

In conclusion, my top 3 would be:

1. I'm With You
2. My Happy Ending
3. Complicated

Some points:
- I think Avril's voice in live performances improved since her debut... I didn't think she was that good when I first saw her in Top Of The Pops in 2002, but I saw her later, and her singing was a lot better.

- When I saw her image change accompanying her "Best Damn Thing" album, I thought to myself: 'Oh gosh! What did they do to Avril? What did Avril do to herself? It was suddenly so pink and glittery and stuff. I don't know if it was meant to be tongue-in-cheek or not.

I'd be interested in getting 'Let Go' and 'Under My Skin' some day, but they're not too high on my wish list for music, and I have to watch my budget.

I like Avril Lavigne, particularly her first two albums (I have them, actually).

I like avril lavine's older stuff. I don't like her newer stuf though, it sounds a bit too childish for her age.

BTW your avatar is my old obsession from a few years ago (the band tatu), those were a weird 3 years. I don't really listen to their music anymore because I get embarrassed about when I used to be fixated on them, even though their music is good. I don't get excited on hearing their music like I used to, now I just feel weird.
