just wondering...cuz I find myself walking to the bus to get to my community college, in college, depending on class, and out on the bus home, then nothing BUT music all afternoon. I'm a little worried, although most of the time I find it very therapeutic and don't think it could possibly make me feel numb enough to lose track of my life. but back to the question, because the rest sounds like it belongs in a more serious forum: am i the only 24/7 music freak?

Pretty much. I can't imagine how people lived before portable music. I do vaguely remember portable CD and cassette players, but that's as primitive as I can go.

I love my ipod, it helps me tune out other 'noise' around me, keeping me sane! :)
It helps me focus on other tasks.

I can't live without music.
I play music almost all day long, from the moment I wake up until the moment I go to bed :)

same here, i listen to music all the time (except when i sleep!),
but it has to be in total silent because if there's noise or someone talking while the music is playing, i get cranky :/
if a person starts talking i have to shut the music off

Oh boy, I used to do this up 'til the last year or two.
I'd hit up DI.FM and leave it on even as I slept, listening to the progressive channel. A couple years back, I bought one of the earlier versions of a pocket-pc phone, for the specific purpose of jacking onto the internet with my phone, and having DI.FM on the bus to work... and sometimes during work if I could get away with it.

Nowadays however, music has kinda faded from my life. I blame depression.

I listen to my music, almost 24 hours a day, the days that I don't have to work, the next day.

My BF listens to his ALL THE TIME. If he's not in school, he's listening to it. I would listen to my music more, but it's a pain to update my phone. Mainly because of, "Rights protected" songs I end up getting. On my iTouch, that wouldn't happen, but of course, it broke :[

I listen to music whenever I can. Whatever I'm doing I like to have headphones and a laptop nearby.
Things don't feel the same without some background music. It seems a bit empty and silent.
Also in art lessons at college I can draw better with music playing, when I've forgotten my headphones I'm listening to everyone else babbling on and I can't really concentrate.

Not 24/7, but a good chunk of the day nonetheless.

I'd probably listen to music much more often if I only had my own iPod.

I only listen to music when I'm either on the computer or (now) in my car. I drive a '83 Chrysler 5th Avenue and the stereo I used to have sounded like.....well, outdated. I just put a Kicker system in there last week. Two 6x9's in the back, two 3 inch low depth speakers in the front, a Sony Xplod deck, Kicker ZX250 Amp and a 10" sub in the trunk. Sounds AMAZING.

Anyways, I wandered off track.......so no, I'm not a 24/7 music freak. Used to be but.....times have changed.
