I have a few least favorite eras...

I favor more a certain quality in my music that runs through almost all styles and eras at some point. For my favorite pieces, anyway, I seek these qualities.

But a time period I enjoy simply for the over-all feel of the music of the time would be the 1930s, with some overlap of the previous and following decades. Woody Allen has given many of his movies a wonderful "feel" just from the use of this music.

Growing up mostly in the 90's I can safely say that I miss grunge. I miss it dearly. So that'd be early-mid 90's.

Well, shoot, if we're just talking about the time periods our favorite music comes from, mine starts in the 18th century with Bach and moves right up to the present with Mika! It really is hard to favor just one decade, I can't imagine only liking music from one tiny slice of music history. Favoring a certain style or period, sure, but not being limited to it.

I don't have a favorite era either. I'll listen to anything that's pleasing to the ear.

No special preference beyond the bias you'd expect to English language music of the last few decades.
