I'm so excited! I always wanted to get postcards with one of my own paintings printed on them, because it will be fun to send them to friends (and anyway, it's difficult to find the kind of postcard I like in stores). And now I'm finally having those made at a print shop! :D

You can look at the layout here:
http://ellerfru.deviantart.com/#/d2s0hkm (front side of the card on top, back side below)
The original painting is acrylics on canvas, the border around the painting (that had to be added because of the unfortunate format) and the editing for the back side of the card were made with the computer.

I'd like to have your opinion of this! :D I'd also like to hear whether you've ever did something similar with your own artwork, e.g. have postcards, posters or pins printed and how it turned out! :D

Beautiful, do you have a gallery? I finished a piece 2 months ago. Its not a true original I used some photo reference then manipulated the color. I have started to paint again after figuring out how to color one my sketches in photoshop. I also use acrylics and like the dry brush effect.

I'm glad you like it! :)
Are you on deviantart as well? Most of my paintings and photos can be found there. http://ellerfru.deviantart.com/gallery/
By the way, I rarely use acrylics, I usually prefer ink, watercolor and pastels.

Thanks for the link. Your photos are so vibrant too. Marketing your art is so important I wish I knew about that when I was younger. I only have the one piece in my gallery. If your interested just pm me.

@ curlyfry: I sent a pm. :) Yes, I guess marketing is important... I'm not planning to make it a career, though. I just publish my stuff online to get feedback and advice to improve.

@ Ackman: I'm glad! Thanks! :)

@ gemstone123: Thank you as well! :)
