Well im to shy to audition for singing:( I do know im good I can do about 3-4 octaves I want to show the world my talent but well im to nervous If you have any advice please help. If anyone has questions ask

I was exactly that way about writing, which is my own talent. I was terrified. I threw away everything I wrote.

Here's how I cured that: I flung myself off the high-dive. It's terrifying and do it anyway.

Vincent d'Onofrio (Law & Order) said that he doesn't take a role unless it scares him. And Anthony Hopkins said that every new role he took, he'd think, "This is the one where they'll all find out I can't act at all."

Two people terrified of doing their bit in public: Barbra Streisand and the late Luciano Pavarotti.

Fear has nothing to do with your voice or singing or anything real. Personally I believe fear has something to do with the ego clashing with the arts. Outside the box with you!

When is the audition? Do you sign up or just show up? What will you sing? Did you say *four* octaves? Is it opera or rock or ... what is the audition for? This is very exciting, especially since it's you going out there and not me. But you can get back at me by nagging me to write.

Did you or will you go? Is it over? What happened? You're so quiet!
