...and yet can't draw very well?

I have several ideas for comic series, but I can't really draw.

If you've ever seen Cyanide and Happiness, you'll know artistic ability really isn't required.

Yes ! !!

I've had an idea for a series for awhile, and can't draw a bit. I wanted to hire an artist, and then found out how artists value their time....

I'll draw some if you've got like fully fleshed stories. I can sort of draw. And I'm bored.

I have ideas and drawing skills... but they're not enough. I can't draw emotions and body language.

That sounds cool. Which members of WP would you use as characters?

I actually spent the last couple years developing my own comic universe. I have a vast array of characters with full bios and design illustrations, and two fictional cities for them to inhabit, but I cannot draw well enough to pencil the comic myself.

I was working with a penciler from Norway about two years back, but he was not that great at drawing people. His anatomy and facial features were both way off. However, he was excellent at drawing wild sci fi scenes and followed direction well.

But I knew that with him on penciling duty I wouldn't be able to get the comic picked up by any of the big publishers, so we parted ways. I have been looking for a new artist to work with for a while now, checking deviant art periodically and various art message boards, but have been unsuccessful as of yet.

I also have two novels I work on off and on, one of which I is Sci Fi that I created an entire fictional solar system for, that is scientifically sound. And the other is Fantasy and I created a fictional continent for it to take place on. But my real obsession is comics, so I always end up going back to working on my comic universe.

I can do a bit of graphic design, so I can make a fair bit of things in Photoshop and other programs to illustrate my ideas so they don't remain solely as text.
