Yeah, I feel Serj's solo music handles the "serious" (i,e, political) issues in a far more visceral, yet subtle, way (i,e Empty Walls) than System's hallucinogen soaked bash fests (Doesn't demean from SOAD though because they were a brilliant band in their own way).
Anyway, I feel like such a tool for thinking about the music in that way, it's meant to be listened to not critiqued and judged
