Hey all, it's me again. Haven't posted in a long time, but I did something incredibly stupid today, and I thought I would write a poem about it.

THE TURKS WOULD HAVE LOVED HIM ON ANZAC DAY!

By Crion87

I’m a jerk, a complete nutter,
Saying things I shouldn’t utter,
Sometimes I go completely off the wall.
But today I think I have done
Something that would cause the sun
To shrink away from me in appal.

I sang near the air-force Diggers
Who did not have fingers on their triggers
An offensive song about the Prime Minister,
Then did I philosophise
My grievous sin and realised
That had made me seem to look rather sinister.

I made my escape on quick feet
To make it all nice and neat,
But I ended up bumping into a higher-up.
I profusely apologised,
And he said, “That’s alright, guys,”
“This man’s not completely grown up.”

But I still wonder if I have done
Every last thing under the sun
In Sale, some people look at me and pan.
Perhaps I should stop bludging around
And pay to have different sound –
Of a jet plane, leaving for Amsterdam.
